Limit

Limit orders allow you to execute trades with a guaranteed outcome at a guaranteed price. They are very easy to create and can be canceled at any time, with any unfilled volume being immediately returned.

You can also trade without creating new orders by utilizing existing active orders placed by other traders.

Creating a new order

1. Navigate to Moon.cx, select the "Trade" category, and switch to "Limit" mode.

2. Connect your wallet by clicking the Connect Wallet button.

3. Select the token you are sending and the token you are receiving on the terminal.

4. Enter the amount of the token you are sending in the amount field, set the execution price for the order.

5. If you're happy with your order, click Create Order.

6. Double-check the entered data in the confirmation window and click "Confirm Order" if everything looks correct.

7. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.

8. Please wait while your order is processed. It should appear in the "My orders" section shortly.

9. Typically, order creation takes about one minute; however, during periods of high network load, the waiting time may increase.

Cancelling an order

1. Connect your wallet by clicking the Connect Wallet button.

2. Navigate to the My orders section.

3. Select the order you wish to cancel.

4. Click `Cancel order` and confirm the transaction in your wallet.

5. As soon as the transaction is complete, any amount of your order that wasn't filled will be returned to your wallet.
